Weststar LDV Sdn Bhd, a part of the Weststar Group, is a newly incorporated company. The company entered into agreements with LDV Group Ltd of Birmingham, the independent van specialist, to manufacture the LDV Maxus range of commercial vehicles in Malaysia.

These products, branded as "Weststar LDV" will be distributed and sold in Malaysia, and exported to ASEAN member countries (Brunei, Cambodia,Indonesia, Laos, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam), Gulf Cooperative Council countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)), Australia and New Zealand
